How it Works

The Dynatrap Flying Insect Eliminator uses two UV fluorescent bulbs, which produce warm light to attract insects. The titanium dioxide-coated funnel produces carbon dioxide, which is irresistible to mosquitoes, luring the insects to the powerful yet whisper-quiet vacuum fan. Insects are collected and trapped in the retaining cage away from the area of usage, providing the user safe pest protection and comfortable living quarters. The Dynatrap Flying Insect Eliminator protects up to a half-acre of land.

"Checked out various flying insect traps online and bought the Dyna Trap to use near my patio in my bug infested Louisiana area where insects are around all year. No method seems to be perfect. It caught a few bugs the first night and I added an Octonel attractant inside the bottom of the trap. It caught more. It is hard to tell what kind of bugs they are when they get torn up blowing around, dehydrate, and shrink. I have noticed a significant decline in mosquitos and sand flies. The 4 rating reflects there should be a better way to get the insects out without letting a few fly off. Waiting until mid afternoon to do a weekly cleaning helps reduce the number of escapees because most of the insects have been in there a while and are unable to fly.
