You can set the charging power to various currents (200, 500, 700 or 1000 mA); the default is 200mA which is the optimal setting for prolonging battery life. Hands On ResearchWhat I like most about this charger system is that it comes with 4 AA and 4 AAA batteries as well as adapters to use those AA batteries as D cell or C cell batteries. It doesn't have a 9-volt battery option, but for AAA, AA, C, and D, you're good to go. Comes in a nice pouch and the charger displays how much voltage and current is on the battery via the LCD screen for each battery.
